Privacy Policy

Prochar (“we”, “us”) runs Prochar at this website, a tool that helps businesses plan, write, schedule and publish social media posts with AI. This policy explains what we collect, why, who we share it with, and the choices you have.

1. What we collect

  • Account details — your name, email address, optional phone number and a securely hashed password.
  • Business information you enter — brand names, descriptions, products, prices, colours, logos and images you upload.
  • Content — plans, posts, images and replies created in Prochar, and messages you send to our support.
  • Connected social accounts — when you connect a Facebook Page, Instagram account, Telegram channel, LinkedIn, TikTok or YouTube account, we receive its name, ID and profile picture, and an access token. Tokens are stored encrypted and used only to do what you ask (publish, read comments and post statistics).
  • Engagement data — likes, comments, reach and similar statistics of posts published through Prochar, and comments on those posts so you can reply from the Inbox.
  • Payments — the plan, amount, date and transaction reference. Card and mobile-wallet details are entered on the payment gateway’s own page (SSLCommerz or EPS); we never see or store them.
  • Usage records — which features you use, how many AI requests you make, and technical logs (such as IP address and browser type) kept for security and to fix problems.

2. How we use it

  • To run the service you asked for: writing content in your brand’s voice, creating images, scheduling and publishing posts, and showing results.
  • To keep accounts secure, prevent abuse (for example, limits on AI use), and fix errors.
  • To send service emails: account confirmation, password resets, team invitations, publishing failures, support replies and important announcements.
  • To process payments and keep required financial records.

We do not sell your data, and we do not use your data or your social accounts’ data for advertising.

3. AI providers

To write text and create images, the relevant parts of your request — such as your brand details, the post topic and instructions — are sent to AI providers that process it on our behalf. Depending on the setup these are DeepSeek, Google (Gemini), OpenAI and Anthropic. They receive only what is needed for the request and return the result to us.

4. Who else processes data

  • Hosting and database — our servers (Hostinger) and database (Supabase).
  • Social platforms — Meta (Facebook, Instagram), Telegram, LinkedIn, TikTok and Google (YouTube), only for the accounts you connect and only to carry out your actions.
  • Email delivery and payment gateways (SSLCommerz, EPS).
  • Authorities, when the law requires it.

5. Facebook and Instagram data

Prochar uses Meta’s official APIs. Page data is used only to show you your Pages, publish the posts you approve, and show comments and statistics for those posts. We follow Meta’s Platform Terms and do not transfer Page data to anyone else. You can disconnect a Page at any time in Social Accounts, which deletes its stored token, and remove Prochar from your Facebook settings under “Business Integrations”.

6. How long we keep it

We keep your data while your account exists. When you delete your account, your account and every workspace you own — brands, posts, images and connected-account tokens — are deleted immediately. Encrypted backups are kept for up to 14 days and then removed. Payment records may be kept longer where the law requires.

7. Security

All traffic uses HTTPS. Passwords are hashed and social access tokens are encrypted at rest. Access to production systems is limited to the people who run the service.

8. Your choices and rights

  • See and edit your profile in Settings.
  • Disconnect any social account at any time.
  • Delete your account yourself in Settings → Delete account (see Data deletion).
  • Ask us for a copy of your data or to correct it by writing to the support page inside the app.

9. Cookies and local storage

We don’t use advertising or tracking cookies. Your browser stores your login session and preferences (such as language) so the app keeps working between visits.

10. Children

Prochar is a business tool for people aged 18 and over.

11. Changes

If we change this policy we will update the date above, and tell you in the app or by email when a change is significant.
